Harmony Arts Festival

Park Royal values the arts and is exciting to be the title sponsor once again for the Harmony Arts Festival. This festival features local talent in a unique showcase throughout West Vancouver. To find out more or to see the program go to www.westvancouver.ca and follow the links.

High School Scholarships

Park Royal is proud to award $12,000.00 worth of high school scholarships every year to high schools on the north shore. Ask your school councilor for details.

North Shore Family Services

In addition to the Holiday Unwrapped Gift Drive, proceeds from our Holiday Gift Wrap services were also donated to the North Shore Family services.

Starry Nights

Starting in November 2010, Starry Nights began as a Holiday Tradition That Gives Back. With 1000 people coming through the doors after hours to shop, this event was a tremendous success. We assisted non-profit and community groups in raising over $10,000 in the community. We’ll be having this event again in November 2011. Heart and Stroke Foundation – Big Bike Event

Park Royal provides the West Vancouver hub for the BIG BIKE in May, as well as putting in at least one team every year. We are excited to be returning as a sponsor again this year.

Columba Light Festival – February 2011

In addition to being the title sponsor of this event, Park Royal set up the Oceanside Skate with 100% of donations going back to the West Vancouver Parks initiatives.

We provide venue sponsorship to:

• Aging Revolution
• North Shore Rotary Wine and Food Festival
• North Shore Sport Awards
• United Girls of the World
• West Vancouver Heritage Fair
• Various town hall meetings, as necessary

In a venue sponsorship, we provide access to Park Royal and support with the coordination and execution of the event, in addition to funding the rentals of the required equipment. These types of sponsorships allow organizations to keep a lower overhead expense and therefore raise more funds for their endeavors.

In addition we provide support in a variety of ways to the following organizations:

• A variety of schools such as: Rockridge Elementary, St. Georges, St. Thomas Aquinas
• Elektra Women’s Choir
• Capilano Community Services
• North Shore Crisis Society
• North Shore Rotary
• Pandora’s Vox
• Stream Keepers
• West Vancouver Community Foundation
• West Vancouver Police Department
• West Vancouver’s Senior’s Bus

We also provide gift cards and in kind donations to a wide variety of groups that approach us on monthly basis for support.

Park Royal is committed to giving back, and we provide space in our shopping centre for non-profit groups to build awareness and raise funds for their causes.
